Whilst choosing a bicycle saddles from our offer, you should take into account your weight and the type of riding you practice, so as your body position on the bike gains because our weight is carried by specific bones that easyliy cause pain when we're sitting for a long time on a hard surface.

The bicycle saddle will be slimmer and thinner for people of lower weights, as these can count on the flexibility of the bottom of their spine that will distribute their body-weight, whereas saddles will have a wider rear end for those riders with higher weights, enjoying less flexibility and applying a higher weight load on the genital area. To avoid pressure in this area, lately some anti-prostatic saddles have been created. These saddles have had their central part removed in order that the body-weight isn't resting on this area.

Bike saddles are therefore an essential element to improve our comfort and to withstand long bike rides. There are also models created for some specific disciplines such as, road bike saddles or triathlon saddles, since in these cases the inclination of the cyclist is greater.

It's highly important, to fix your saddle it in the correct position. A wrong height, tilt or recoil can cause muscle damage, overload or numbness.
